Class Guru List.

ouch-

im going to shark you elfrosto!

Advanced players can lay out all of their tactics in great detail but there's one factor that no essay can teach: chasing skills

You can be fully prepared with consumables, buffs, etc, but if you can't chase, you aren't going to be successful. Just something to consider.

I'm good with BMG's and pretty good with Necros but I haven't had any interest in playing for a little while

I am pretty good with invokers, but I have not done one since I had a psi.

Do not lie, you are all pretty good with everything.Guru standing next to guru this is what I see. What is the point to say with what you are good after the immortals will decide if they want to implement it and who will teach the newbies, IF there are newbies anyway.Because the only new player I have seen for two years is Liadon.

Your new forum handle is the_pessimist.

What I meant is just that someone else must tell and vote what you are good with.

My first 50 was Ariana. As in last year.

I'm no vet, even if I have played off and on for 10 years. I was never really here except as a lark until last year. (When I decided to play the FULL game instead of the demo version)

Also, I realize that chasing skills are HUUUUGE. However having someone you can have an in-depth conversation about a certain class is never a bad thing.

Again, the essays are great, but if you've already figured all that out, and you're having a really hard time, having another player to bounce stuff off of is never a bad thing.

communer guide

Dear Lorfaine,

**** you.

All the best,

Krondrin Barrimtor

EDIT: Woops, wrong thread I guess.

I remember your evil cleric, Nekromna. Human evil cleric I think? You killed my very first character that eventually made it to pinn, somewhere around the 20s.

Don't know why I remember that.

Dey

I don't know why you remember that either, Nekromna was my first of evil clerics. First nexus, second pinn. I was going to try for demon but instead just went around pking the **** out of people in the 30's 35's then 42's. I play a pretty damn decent cleric aswell since I'va had more of those than I care to admit.

With Liadon's current thread, I was starting to wonder whether this is not something we need to implement.

I firmly believe that a newbie should be helped in any ways possible, and she deserves such help without revealing what she plays, as she had to do so that people could help her. I am vouching for such list to be made, not only for newbies to get tips on their combos, but also so they can receive more general PK advices.

I.e. I play zerker so I will message jibber/nekky because they are good with them.

But there is a necromancer player that is giving me troubles, so I will message Mindflayer because he is good with necromancers and knows best which their weak sides are.

So, I will now create a list of my own, with classes and players who've managed to make me an impression that they are good with their combos, and since it's a list of my own, I don't care about how good you think you are with certain class and why aren't you listed as a "guru".

Warrior - Tassinvegeta, Mindflayer, Anume, Zhokril.

Ranger - Zhokril, Aulian

Battlemage - Jibber, Hit&Run, Mya

Necromancer - Mindflayer

Thief - Mindflayer, Reccum (Mister_E), the_nightmare, Deykari

Healer - Mindflayer, HouselessRogue, Jibber

Dark Knight - Hit&Run, Tassinvegeta, mmajunkie (Zrothum)

Ninja - Reccum (Mister_E), the_nightmare

Shaman - Twinblades, Kyzarius

Paladin - Jibber, Deykari

Invoker - Evangelion (Balinor), The_namesless (emp_newb)

Monk - Khaede, The Forsaken

Cleric - Mya, Kyzarius

Blademaster - Sarcon (I don't know if he is still around), EyeSeeU (ditto), f0xx

Berserker - Jibber, Nekky

Druid - Aulian

Vampire - Totenknopf, Anume

Crusader - Tassinvegeta

Lich - Filth

Psi - The-Nameless (Emp_newb), Mudder (not sure if he is around)

Some classes have only one person against them and my idea is each one to have at least 3 (active) people on the list. Please suggest more. I take suggestion only if they are about people other than yourselves.

I know you don't want to take self nominations, but I do play a pretty mean necro. Before I made Wurven, who became a lich, I played at least three to four other necros just to toy with different mechanics and spell sets.

I cant say I am a Guru, but I can say I know all the classes well, but I know Invokers, Warriors, and Zerks very well. If anyone has any questions about them please let me know, I have fathered the ideas that led to many good good chars.

Dey plays a nasty thief as well

F0xx plays nasty blademasters.

I'm appalled that F00x didn't nominate me as a zerk guru.

As I am quite good with this subtle casting class...

Now really i can also give advanced advice on BMG's and Invokers. Not a guru but pretty good with them.

Of course it comes not even close to my clerics knowledge.

But that i imagine is what differentiates a veteran subject from a mastery.

Which reminds me, that even if someone does not have a pk record does not means that they don't master the class. I have taken Necro advice in game from lowkey necros that made my jaws drop. Realy deep stuff.

But then again i find necros a old man class. You make your game and hope for the best. There is little margin for errors or plan changes. In oposition to clerics, were PK is ever changing from one tactic to another.

Always happy to give people DK tips if they PM me.

I've updated the list.

I also play a mean psi, but only ever did one.

Time to start rolling.

Healers are my past time, as well. If you wanna put me up there for them. Kind of surprised I wasn't there already

Nice list.
