I think Deptore hit the nail on the head. If Monk A is offensive, and tiger, then I would use defensive horse, not flying. He cannot air thrash me, trip is nearly useless, and his blows are reversed, hence I will outdamage him. If he is going defense, hope he is flying, and if not, you have to get around him using horse stance or possibly using another stance, for instance if they are monkey, perhaps go drunken and so on.

Monk in defensive will lose to monk in offensive. Only a small percentage of attacks are reversed, which does not include chakera strikes. Defensive Monk could definately get away from offensive monk, but they won't win and won't be able to finish the fight.

I agrese with Ceph, horse stance monk will give an offensive monk some serious trouble.
Not only will the def monk still land regular blows, they will have both parries, dodge, and reverse which works quite often.
especilly if you have hand to hand boosted.

Heh... I am totally going to miss Madness this year (assuming it happens). Working both the 31st and the 1st, as well as I'm certain I'm going to be out partying or with friends afterwards and recovering between... that's what I get for having a life these days I guess.

I'll be working until midnight. Need to do my drinking after work... then pass out around 4 or 5 am so I wake up in time to get rid of the hangover to work the next day. 
Forsaken and I had a lot of experimentation with this (Astula vs Aokami). Dragon stance is best for monk versus monk PK. There's your answer.
