Moving Away from IMM-Permission Cabal Inductions and Promotions

If it's any consolation, I thought you did a great job. Might not have been Nexus T material, but great nonetheless.

I thought you could have been E with your RP alone, told someone that much in game.  Just don't want you to walk away feeling like a failure, I actually told multiple people I thought you were Magick, ironically...just based on some of the talks I was privy to.

The only thing I did on this character that I can genuinely say I'm proud of is @Rygothran gave me an rp reward for my manipulation in general. Just a random reward for my consistent manipulation, and scheming. It wasn't tied to a log, or journal, just a reward for the scope of what I had been doing.

I thought you played it very well, man. Part of me wants to ask Lloth to spill the beans, but the other part of me knows that, for me at least, there's no answer that will adequately explain why someone poured almost 240 hours into this game and couldn't even be given T, while the general consensus is your RP was stellar, and you took your deaths in stride from what I could tell.  I've been in your shoes and I know how much you want to scream but at the same time have to just chalk it up to 'it is what it is' and come to terms with the fact you aren't in control of your character's destiny.  I hope you come back with another one, Seviks won't soon be forgotten.

I'm severely disappointed you gave up on this character. I enjoyed the character and I hope you enjoyed our interactions even though my character is really an ass hole with an agenda. 

With that being said, it is sometimes difficult to gauge who deserves what and when they cross that threshold. We as immortal characters are only human and may not see things how you see things. I encourage you and anyone to open dialog if you feel you earned something and aren't getting it. Personally, I am more then happy to discuss most things. 

It is easy for me because I have a hard stat to follow for T in Syndicate. Elder and leader get more hazy but typically if you have staller RP and are pushing the agenda of the cabal they come naturally. There are other factors like... don't piss off the dragon who holds all the cards but there are doorways out of those situations should you find yourself there as well.

The immortals have more responsibility than just a cabal so a simple conversation goes a long way.

I propose, again, some changes. This gives a clear path to T, which I personally have no idea why T is locked down so heavily, while making E still accessible through clear cut means while also giving the IMM a way to stop it if there's something really holding the character back. And L, as a no brainer, should only be handed out at the IMMs discretion.  Of course these can be slowed down or sped up at the IMMs discretion, but at least this gives the players a tangible goal and they know if this does not get it, I can ask the IMM why, and can hopefully expect a response that sets me on the right course.

V->T = 30 hours played at V, 50 RP minimum, auto promote/vote to cabal

T->E = 100 hours played at T, 100 RP minimum, vote to cabal, cabal imm can still veto

E->L = imm promo only

I love Seviks too. Such a manipulative bastard.

Therfore I'm restoring him. If you really want him gone, you're gonna have to delete him again.

I mean I'm not thrilled seviks is gone, but at a certain point I have to retain some of my self respect, and acknowledge that my time is valuable, and I'm not getting any returns for the effort. Yes, it is wrong to expect promos. That sense of entitlement causes so many problems with our community, but on the same note we all play this game for pk shakes, and rewards for our effort. I want to be acknowledged for my effort, I want to see returns on the hundreds of hours invested. That isn't wrong of anyone to want to know they are working towards something.

If someone is working a job, but doing it wrong, the supervisors should tell them they aren't doing what they need to. Not let them work for 6 weeks thinking they are doing exactly what they should be doing.

That's what I'm talking about!

I think Seviks was (is) great from my interactions with you. Always contacted me to initiate rp, which is always a great start. We didn't fight but I liked our chats.

Seviks has always been very vocal about how murder really isn't really his thing (would have 100% stated doublesheath) it just doesn't fit with my visualization of how seviks came to be laying in front of the hidden ninja guild in falen dara.

I prefer to trap them in pocket dimensions until they lose their sanity. Slowly echoing them being tortured the same ways over and over again.
