NERCUROS

General
NERCUROS THE GREY

Nercuros is the grey moon of Aabahran, and is handedly the largest and most
massive of the three moons. Consider barren, scarred and ancient this moon
hangs in the heavens like a stone weathered by time eternal.

Nercuros is most closely tied to the physical world when compared to its
sisters, Nercuros has a far greater affect upon the lands tides and natural
occurrences than its siblings. It is said to govern the weather and affect
the tremors that occur from time to time.

Because of this Nercuros is the favored by sailors, farmers, druids and even
judges who keep records of the moons passing.

Nercuros is most commonly seen as the most level headed sibling of the
heavens and unlike his sisters is seen to be the ultimate adjudicator of
balance, memories patience and the judgement. It is not the mercy of
Lysenties or the silence of Dyphrities but instead is the weight and control
between the two. Often pictured as a scale or stone it is said that Nercuros
is the watcher who will see all things rise and fall.

When Nercuros hangs high in the night sky, the world is said to grow thinner
and sometimes strange in its grey light. Colors shimmer where no flame burns,
and distant lights are known to move across empty fields. Mages and those who
wield the rawer arts of magic often claim that spells answer with greater
forces beneath its gaze.

Those who pay homage to Nercuros speak of consequence, as no life is without
death. The Grey Moon does not provide comfort, and he does not condemn, it
remembers. Druids and scholars claim that Nercuros plays a vital role in the
order of the cosmos and the magic that turns the heavens, such matters are
seldom discussed or understood outside of temples, towers and druidic
circles.

When Nercuros is strong, the wise listen before they act.
